“WikiLeaks, I love WikiLeaks." ~ Donald Trump, October 10 2016, Wilkes-Barre, PA. “This WikiLeaks is like a treasure trove." ~ Donald Trump, October 31, 2016 in Warren, MI. Back in the day, not so long ago, The Donald loved him some WikiLeaks. He said so on at least five occasions out on the campaign trail – in Pennsylvania, Florida, Ohio, and Michigan. That was when WikiLeaks, ostensibly at least, served his purposes by releasing hacked DNC emails that were rather unflattering to his opponent, Hillary Clinton. The MAGA crew must’ve agreed with him regarding the Julian Assange-headed web publication at the time: Trump carried all four battleground states, which propelled him into the White House. He’s had more than three years, now, to acclimate to his new digs and, somewhere along the way, pulled a 180 on Assange, whom his administration now labels "an enemy of the state who must be brought down."

Russian President Vladimir Putin has supported the proposal to ban high ranking officials, including ministers, senators and governors, from having foreign assets and bank accounts abroad and suggested expanding the list of such individuals to include the head of state. "I fully agree. However, all officials need to be mentioned, including the head of state, the country’s president. Therefore, I suggest that this official be added to it as well," Putin said at a meeting with the working group to draft amendments to the Constitution.
Russian President Vladimir Putin has supported the idea of organizing a nationwide vote on the constitutional amendments on April 22, which will be declared a day-off, Pavel Krasheninnikov, a co-chair of the working group for drafting amendments to the Russian constitution, said on Wednesday. "Vladimir Vladimirovich has just agreed with it. So we proceed from it," he said, adding that it will be committed to paper in the law that the day of the nationwide voting on April 22 will not be a working day.

Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov has denied reports that Russian President Vladimir Putin and his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan will meet in Istanbul on March 5. "President Putin has no plans for such a meeting on March 5 so far," he told reporters on Thursday. Peskov added that there was no trip to Istanbul in the president’s schedule for March 5. "No, President Putin has other work plans for March 5," he said. The Kremlin spokesman noted though that Russia and Turkey continued to communicate at the expert and working levels, "first and foremost, to discuss the Idlib crisis."

The Ministry of Culture, Youth, and Sports of Ukraine (MCYS) welcomed the completion of work on a fundamentally new program entitled “patriotic education of the younger generation of Ukrainians”. According to official information, in the near future hundreds of circles promoting the ideas of the “Ukrainian Insurgent Army” and a number of Ukrainian extreme right-wing nationalist movements will be created on the territory from Uzhgorod to Slavyansk at children’s creativity houses and even schools. For this purpose, the Ministry has already allocated half of the budget funds provided for the development of culture. It is expected that in certain regions the money for this “upbringing” will come from the State Pension Fund. The correspondent of the Federal News Agency looked into the situation.

[this article was written for the Unz Review] - There are two names which often trigger a very strong and hostile reaction from many Russians: Alexander Solzhenitsyn and Vladimir Rezun aka “Viktor Suvorov”....What I like to do when I hear these opinions is to ask a simple question: how many books by Solzhenitsyn and/or Rezun have you actually read? The answer is typically rather nebulous. They mostly refer to either one or two books (at most) and a number of articles (often articles not even written by either author, but paraphrasing, often rather “creatively”). This reminds me of an old Soviet joke: “a Party official comes to some factory or office to deliver a political lecture and absolutely tears into Solzhenitsyn’s famous “Gulag Archipelago” calling it an ugly collection of lies. One of the workers present asks the Party official whether he read the entire book to which the Party official replies “I don’t read such anti-Soviet filth!”

March 25th, 2016/by Kit O`Connell - Clinton bragged about the U.S. role in Moammar Gadhafi’s death, and her emails leaked by Wikileaks show the race to claim Libya’s resources in the aftermath. A message from Hillary Clinton’s private email server reveals that France and the United Kingdom both sought to control Libya’s oil in the days after the U.S.-backed coup in 2011. An email sent on Sept. 16, 2011 to Clinton, then the U.S. Secretary of State, from journalist and family friend Sidney Blumenthal, shows that French President Nicolas Sarkozy and British Prime Minister David Cameron each traveled to Tripoli about one month after Moammar Gadhafi’s government fell in order to assert their claim on Libya’s energy reserves. They made these demands, Blumenthal wrote, during meetings with the country’s National Transitional Council, a de facto government which formed with Western support in the aftermath of the coup:
by Julian Assange - Hillary didn`t just vote for Iraq. She made her own Iraq. Libya is Hillary`s Iraq and if she becomes president she will make more. I have had years of experience in dealing with Hillary Clinton and have read thousands of her cables. Hillary lacks judgement and will push the United States into endless, stupid wars which spread terrorism. Her personality combined with her poor policy decisions have directly contributed to the rise of ISIS. Pentagon generals objected to destroying the Libyan state. They felt Hillary did not have a safe post-war plan. Hillary Clinton went over their heads. Libya has been destroyed. It became a haven for ISIS. The Libyan national armory was looted and hundreds of tons of weapons were transferred to jihadists in Syria. Hillary`s war has increased terrorism, killed tens of thousands of innocent civilians and has set back women`s rights in the Middle East by hundreds of years.

In yesterday’s proceedings in court, the prosecution adopted arguments so stark and apparently unreasonable I have been fretting on how to write them up in a way that does not seem like caricature or unfair exaggeration on my part. What has been happening in this court has long moved beyond caricature. All I can do is give you my personal assurance that what I recount actually is what happened.
by Ron Paul - One thing we’ve learned from the Trump Presidency is that the “deep state” is not just some crazy conspiracy theory. For the past three years we’ve seen that deep state launch plot after plot to overturn the election. It all started with former CIA director John Brennan’s phony “Intelligence Assessment” of Russian involvement in the 2016 election. It was claimed that all 17 US intelligence agencies agreed that Putin put Trump in office, but we found out later that the report was cooked up by a handful of Brennan’s hand-picked agents. Donald Trump upset the Washington apple cart as presidential candidate and in so doing he set elements of the deep state in motion against him.
